Sap House Meadery opened in 2011, founded by cousins Matt Trahan and Ash Fishbein who both grew up in Ossipee, New Hampshire. In 2019, Cody Wells—known to many as the “Lego Man” of New York—brought his life and vibrant LEGO passion to Effingham. What began as a journey for more creative space, after building a museum exhibit in Cape Cod, led Cody to open C3Brix, a unique LEGO haven that quickly became a local treasure.

Mountainview Station Restaurant opened its doors under new ownership on November 14, 2024, when Jarrod Sellers and Alex Bourgault took the helm with a clear vision: to preserve a beloved local eatery while contributing to the revitalization of Center Ossipee Village.
