About The Restaurant

Location: 79 Main Street, Center Ossipee, NH
Hours: Tuesday – Sunday: 11am – 8pm, Closed Monday

Mountainview Station Restaurant opened its doors under new ownership on November 14, 2024, when Jarrod Sellers and Alex Bourgault took the helm with a clear vision: to preserve a beloved local eatery while contributing to the revitalization of Center Ossipee Village. The duo is committed to maintaining the restaurant’s welcoming atmosphere while gradually introducing their own culinary specialties.

What You’ll Find

The menu focuses on hearty comfort food that brings people back again and again. Highlights include:

  • Some of the region’s best chowder
  • Classic American comfort dishes
  • Wood-fired brick oven pizza (currently featured on Sundays)
  • Daily specials incorporating the owners’ unique touches

While respecting the original restaurant’s cherished recipes and familiar feel, Jarrod and Alex are thoughtfully adding their own signature dishes to enhance the dining experience.

Meet the Owners

Jarrod Sellers and Alex Bourgault are deeply rooted in the Center Ossipee community. Alex has called the village home his entire life, while Jarrod has been a resident for over 25 years. Their commitment to the area extends beyond the restaurant—they also own and operate Good Eatz 603, a food truck and catering service they launched around 2020.

The partners chose to keep their business in Center Ossipee specifically to be part of the village’s growth and revitalization. They’re enthusiastic supporters of upcoming developments, particularly the Rail Trail, which they envision becoming a focal point that brings new energy to the village.

Community Connection

Mountainview Station isn’t just about great food—it’s about strengthening community bonds. The owners are dedicated to seeing Center Ossipee thrive and actively participate in village initiatives and growth opportunities.

Why Dine Here?

Whether you’re craving authentic New England chowder, wood-fired pizza, or simply a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with neighbors, Mountainview Station offers both quality food and genuine hospitality. Jarrod and Alex have created a space where tradition meets innovation, all while keeping community at the heart of everything they do.

Farm to Table Market

Farm to Table Market

About the Market

Location: 2370 Route 16, West Ossipee, NH
Hours: Daily, 10am – 6pm
https://farmtotablemarketnh.com

Farm to Table is a specialty food market that Nicole McAlister and Foster Maxwell acquired on October 31, 2023, bringing fresh energy to this 8-year-old Ossipee establishment. With a focus on connecting the community with local products, the shop serves as both a gathering place and a showcase for the region’s best farms, bakeries, and crafters.

What You’ll Find

Farm to Table offers much more than typical market fare:

  • Full-service deli with fresh, quality meats and cheeses
  • Made-to-order sandwich station
  • Local farm products and produce
  • Artisan baked goods from area bakeries
  • Handcrafted items from local makers
  • Freshly made apple cider donuts (newly introduced)
  • Specialty food items sourced from throughout the region

The owners take pride in supporting local producers whenever possible, creating a true farm-to-table experience for customers.

A Growing Business

Since taking ownership just over a year ago, Nicole and Foster have been working to expand their offerings while maintaining the shop’s community-focused spirit. Their recently launched apple cider donuts are just the beginning—the couple has exciting plans to introduce new products and expand their selection in the coming months.

Meet the Owners

Nicole McAlister and Foster Maxwell hail from nearby Freedom, NH. Though they were familiar with Ossipee before purchasing Farm to Table, they weren’t yet established in the community. That changed quickly. In their first year of ownership, they’ve discovered what makes Center Ossipee special: the incredible people who walk through their doors daily, each with unique stories and backgrounds.

Community at Its Core

What strikes Nicole most about their new venture is the genuine sense of community that many towns aspire to but few achieve. “Everyone knows everyone,” she notes, describing how customers create a welcoming atmosphere where neighbors connect over quality food. The support from locals has made their first year not just successful, but genuinely fun.

Why Shop Here?

Farm to Table isn’t just a market—it’s a celebration of local flavors and community connections. Whether you’re picking up fresh deli sandwiches, discovering products from nearby farms, or simply catching up with neighbors, Nicole and Foster have created a space where quality, locality, and community converge.

Stop by daily from 10am to 6pm and taste what makes this specialty food market a true Ossipee treasure!

About White Horse Recovery

Location: 70 NH-16B, Center Ossipee, NH

Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with Matthew Plache, Executive Director of White Horse Recovery. Here’s what he shared about their impactful work:

“We provide mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) clinical counseling with NH-licensed clinicians, both on an individual basis and through our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups. We change lives. People come to us, and when they leave, they’re different people—they have their lives back. This transformation happens through both clinical and peer support services.”

Peer support services are offered in separate offices, staffed by Certified Recovery Support Workers (CRSWs). These walk-in centers are available at no cost, funded through a combination of donations and state grants. With four centers, White Horse is covering the northern 40% of New Hampshire with these vital services.

“Anyone suffering from SUD can come in and find a safe, stigma-free space, connect with community, and get whatever help they need. We provide camping supplies, food, access to showers, laundry facilities, and opportunities to work with specialists who have lived experience in recovery. Most of our staff have been there—and now, some of those who came through our program are helping others. Our clinical offices receive referrals from drug court and offer a 12-week IOP that combines group and individual counseling. This program is becoming well respected in the community and has seen great success.”

Growth and Expansion

White Horse has seen 20% growth in its clinical operations, expanded its clinical staff, and is preparing to open a recovery house in Center Ossipee, which will offer seven beds—right next to one of their walk-in centers. This proximity allows residents easy access to needed services. Clinical offices are currently located in North Conway and Ossipee.

“We don’t just save lives—we change them. Yes, we provide Narcan, and while that saves lives, we do so much more.”

Challenges and Commitment to Community

Matthew shared some ongoing challenges, as he said transportation and housing remain significant barriers, not just in Ossipee but throughout northern New Hampshire. White Horse is actively working to address both issues as part of their commitment to the community.

“The people who live in Ossipee are real and face real challenges. We’re here to help.”
